The four weekly prompts

Each week, you each answer four short prompts. Three are shared with your partner, word-for-word. One is optional and stays with you alone. The app uses it to build a personal insight only you see. Here's what each prompt looks like, with an example answer to set the tone.

  1. Shared with your partner

What do you appreciate about your partner this week?

This will be shared word-for-word with your partner. Take a moment with your phrasing!

    Example answer
You handled daycare pickup on Tuesday without me even asking. I noticed, and it meant a lot. I actually got a break that evening.
  2. Shared with your partner

What caused friction or stress this week?

Be honest but gentle. This helps identify patterns together.

    Example answer
I felt stressed on Wednesday when we talked about the summer trip. It felt like we were negotiating instead of planning together, and I didn't know how to say that in the moment.
  3. Shared with your partner

What do you need from your partner this week?

A clear, specific ask helps your partner support you.

    Example answer
Can we block 20 uninterrupted minutes on Friday evening to plan the trip? Phones down, no kids in the room.
  4. Only you see this

Is there a personal pattern or risk you want to keep an eye on?

Optional. Only you ever see what you write here. The AI turns it into a short personal insight, just for you and not for your partner.

    Example answer
I'm sleeping badly again. I notice the old pattern of pushing through the week and crashing on the weekend, and I want to catch it before it turns into a bad month.

Every prompt is short by design. Two to four sentences is plenty. The app is a weekly ritual, not a journaling tool.
