How do I create an account?

Visit our sign-up page, enter your name, email, and a password. You’ll receive a verification email. Click the link to activate your account.

How do I invite my partner?

After creating your couple space, you’ll get a unique invite link. Share it with your partner via message or email. They can join by clicking the link and creating an account, or by signing in if they already have one. The link expires after 7 days.

What if my partner doesn’t sign up right away?

No worries. You can generate a new invite link at any time from your dashboard. Your space will be waiting until your partner joins.

A new check-in becomes available each week on the day you configured when creating your couple space. By default, that is Monday.

How does the AI summary work?

After both partners submit their check-in, the app sends your shared responses to OpenAI to generate a calm, balanced recap. The summary highlights alignment, acknowledges friction, and suggests a concrete agreement for the week.

What data does the AI see?

The AI sees your appreciations, friction points, and needs. It does not see your private Risk to Watch entry. Your risk insight is generated separately and is never included in the shared summary.

The AI suggests one concrete, actionable agreement based on your check-in responses. Both partners review it and can agree or suggest changes. Once both agree, it becomes your shared commitment for the week.

Can I reject or change an agreement?

Yes. If the suggested agreement doesn’t feel right, you can explain what doesn’t fit and the AI will generate a new one. There is a limit on how many times you can regenerate per week.

How is my data protected?

We take data protection seriously: every check-in response, recap, agreement and shared memory is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM before it touches the database. All traffic runs over HTTPS/TLS, passwords are stored with bcrypt hashing, sessions use secure tokens with automatic expiry, and we set only technically necessary cookies. Is my check-in content used to train AI?

No. Your check-in content is never used to train any AI model, not ours and not anyone else's. OpenAI’s API terms forbid using API inputs for model training, and we don’t run a training pipeline of our own.

Can check-ins be deleted automatically after some time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In Settings you can enable auto-deletion and choose any retention window between 14 and 730 days. A daily job then permanently removes any check-in older than the window you chose. Auto-deletion is off by default, and turning it on or changing it requires both partners to agree.

Who else has access to my data?

Accepted Answer

Three sub-processors receive limited data so the product can work. Railway hosts the app and the PostgreSQL database. Sensitive columns are encrypted before they are written, so Railway only ever sees ciphertext. OpenAI receives decrypted check-in responses at the moment your recap or agreement is generated, and its API terms forbid training on API inputs. Resend sends transactional email (reminders, deletion confirmations) and never receives check-in content.

Do you use cookies or tracking?

We only use technically necessary cookies for authentication and language preference. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking. No Google Analytics, no PostHog, no Sentry.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Settings → Download my data exports your full history as a decrypted JSON file you can keep, archive or move elsewhere. This covers your right to data portability under GDPR Article 20, and we never charge for it.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete individual check-ins with partner consent, your entire account, or the couple space from the Settings page. Deletions are immediate and cascading. Nothing is kept in a soft-deleted limbo.

Go to Settings and update your preferred check-in day, time, and timezone. Your reminder emails will adjust accordingly.

How do I delete a check-in?

In Settings under Danger Zone, you can request to delete a specific check-in. Since results are shared, your partner will need to confirm before the check-in is permanently deleted.

How do I delete my account?

In Settings under Danger Zone, click Delete My Account. This permanently removes your account and all your personal data. If you have a partner, they keep their own data and the couple space.

Can I change the app language?
